We put a tape measure on three pairs of jeans — all labeled W32, all measured at the same spot. Here's what the label won't tell you:
- Brand A — labeled W32: 82.0 cm
- Brand B — labeled W32: 84.5 cm
- Brand C — labeled W32: 86.0 cm
Four centimeters between “fits” and “goes straight back” — on the very same size label. No size chart can resolve that. Your own measurements can.
